Korean barbecue is a two-person minimum, and the side dishes are free

Most barbecue restaurants require at least two portions, and the banchan side dishes that fill the table are refilled on request at no charge. Korean cuisine assumes sharing; ordering one dish each isn't the norm. Convenience stores (GS25, CU) are a real food option, with tables, hot water, and good triangle kimbap. No tipping anywhere. Pour drinks for others, never your own, and turn slightly away from elders when drinking.
