Copenhagen on a bike: rent one, and learn the hand signals

Copenhagen is designed for bicycles, and riding one is the most local thing you can do. Rent from a shop rather than the dockless apps if you'll ride for days. Stay in the bike lane on the right, signal a stop by raising a hand, point before turning, and don't stop at the curb without pulling aside: the lanes are busy and fast. Lights are required after dark, and the fine for ignoring a red bike signal is real. The harbor buses are included in transit tickets and give the best city views.
