Kuala Lumpur: Grab and the trains, and the free sights

Grab is the ride-hailing app here and it's cheap; taxis should be avoided unless the meter is on. The LRT and MRT trains link most areas you'd visit, and the KLIA Ekspres train from the airport takes about 30 minutes. The Petronas Towers skybridge is a paid timed ticket that sells out; the view from the KLCC park, and from the bars on nearby rooftops, costs nothing or the price of a drink. Batu Caves and the Thean Hou temple are free.
