Tapas etiquette: stand at the bar, order a few, move on
In Andalusia, Madrid, and much of the north, tapas are eaten standing at the bar, two or three per place, then you walk to the next bar. Order one round at a time; ordering everything at once marks you as a tourist and leaves half of it cold. In Granada and parts of León, a free tapa still comes with every drink. Ask for "la cuenta" when you're done; nobody will bring it unprompted.
