Germany's Deutschlandticket is a monthly subscription that covers all regional trains, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams, and buses nationwide, not the fast ICE and IC trains. For a stay of a week or more with a few regional trips, it can cost less than two or three single tickets. It's sold as a subscription you cancel after the first month, through the DB app and regional transit apps; check the cancellation deadline when you buy.
