The Little Mermaid, and the Nyhavn restaurant prices

The Little Mermaid is small, far from the center, and surrounded by buses; see it as part of a walk along the Kastellet fortress and the harbor rather than as a destination. Nyhavn's painted houses are the photo, but its waterfront restaurants charge the most in the city for average food; buy a beer from a shop and sit on the quay like the locals, then eat elsewhere. Tivoli is worth it in the evening when the lights are on; the entry ticket doesn't include rides.
