Prague: never exchange money on the street, and watch the taxi meter
Prague's street money changers and the shops advertising "0% commission" with a tiny-print rate are the city's oldest trap; some have been known to hand over Hungarian forints. Pay by card, or withdraw crowns from a bank ATM (decline the ATM's own conversion). For taxis, use Bolt or Uber, or a hotel-called cab; the ones waiting near Wenceslas Square and the main station have a reputation. The airport bus plus metro is cheap and fast.
