Sydney: ferries for the price of a bus, and the free coastal walks

Sydney's ferries are public transport paid with a tapped bank card; the Manly ferry gives the harbor, the Opera House, and the bridge for a few dollars, and Sunday fares are capped. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, the Spit to Manly walk, and the Royal Botanic Garden cost nothing. The Opera House tour is paid, but walking around it and sitting on the steps is free. Fares cap daily and weekly, so a tapped card beats any tourist pass.
